Do Electronic Cigarettes Deliver A Real Smoking Experience?
Smokers who buy e-cigarettes are often surprised to learn that they deliver an experience that closely resembles smoking the tobacco products they have been addicted to.
This was not always the case when people first started to buy electronic cigarette
in Europe back in 2003. Back then, the products were viewed as gimmicks, but even then there was a great curiosity within the smoking public about this new electronic product.
The primary trait that determines whether your e-cigarette will resemble the experience of inhaling tobacco smoke is the volume of the vapor it produces. Cheap e-cigarettes may yield a thin vapor that does not satisfy the nicotine cravings of the smoker. If you buy electronic cigarette
such as Green Smoke on the other hand, you will get the best e-smoking experience currently available to man, with ultra high vapor volume and one of the finest tasting flavors I have ever had.
The vapor is the reason for e-smoking. If a good amount of vapor is produced for the user to inhale, the physical sensation is very similar to the tobacco use they are accustomed to. A measured dose of nicotine is inhaled with the dense vapor and the hit to the back of the user’s throat is surprisingly identical to the feeling provided by the smoke from burning tobacco.
Electronic cigarettes are designed to look as much like the products they replace as possible. But untill today, cheap e-cigs are made of lightweight smooth plastic that lack the feel of a traditional smoke in the user’s hand. Cheap batteries make the tip of the e-cig much heavier than the mouthpiece and make these cheap products feel off balance and unwieldy. I suppose there will always be a market for ultra-cheap, low quality e-cigarettes, as there is with every other product.
The best e-cigarettes produced today use long lasting batteries that hold a charge longer and aren’t heavy as old standard batteries were. They produce more vapor. They are lighter and smaller. They are safer and more convenient. They feel like a real cigarette, and not like cheap plastic and they look like the real thing. One such e-cig (the best one I came across so far) is the one from Green Smoke.
With better e-cigarettes, flavors available are very close to tobacco and a variety of flavors is available. E-smokers might choose a traditional tobacco flavor or menthol if that is their choice. And more adventurous e-smokers might buy e-cigarette cartridges with vanilla, chocolate, or even strawberry flavored vapor.
When you buy electronic cigarettes, you not only choose the flavor but also have an option of nicotine strength. The nicotine level you choose is based on your personal smoking preferences. The highest level available for e-cigarettes is often 16 mg. Buy e-cigarette cartridges of 16mg if you are used to smoke non-filtered cigarettes.
For those who smoke tobacco products listed as “full flavored”, I would recommend to buy electronic cigarette
with 8 mg strength. If your tobacco of choice is one of the brands listed as “light” or “ultra-light” you would buy e-cigarette cartridges with 6 mg or 4 mg as your preferred nicotine dosage. There are even refill cartridges available containing only flavor with no nicotine at all.
One thing where electronic cigarettes do not compare to the real tobacco version is the price. Traditional smokes are now priced at $5-10 per pack due to both increases in tobacco taxes and in manufacturer’s prices. Even if you opt to buy electronic cigarettes that are top notch, such as such the ones from Green Smoke, you will pay only about $2 for the equivalent of one pack of smokes.
Price is one factor that is driving the increasing demands for electronic cigarettes. The e-cig also provides a satisfying smoking experience and (allthough not proven yet) a presumably much safer way to smoke as well.
If you are looking to buy e-cigarettes of high quality, I would strongly recommend the ones from Green Smoke. You can also read a great guide about what to consider BEFORE you buy electronic cigarettes.
