There Are No Smoking Ban Concerns For Cigarettes Without Smoke
It is no longer politically correct to be a tobacco smoker. Everywhere you turn there are signs saying “no smoking”. Entire towns have passed ordinances to establish a smoking ban for any public gathering places.
The day when you could enjoy a leisurely meal in your favorite restaurant and sit back with a cup of coffee and cigarette is now only a memory in many cities. The disapproval aimed at tobacco users has convinced many to quit smoking.
Consumers have spent millions, if not billions, of dollars on smoking cessation products such as nicotine replacement patches and gums. They have filled expensive prescriptions for antidepressant medications meant to reduce the craving for nicotine and help control mood swings of withdrawal.
The addiction to nicotine is not the only reason for smokers to return to the habit or to find it hard to stop smoking. Cigarettes become part of a smoker’s daily activity and many identify common tasks with smoking. It is this emotional connection to the habit that may be the hardest addiction to overcome.
There is no smoking ban for cigarettes without smoke. As the truth about the safety and environmentally sound electronic cigarettes becomes more widely known, consumers are embracing this new product.
The best e-cigarette allows smokers to inhale without angering those around him. Initially, an e-smoker may have to explain to family and friends (and perhaps to employers) the benefits of inhaling a vapor mist. Once others are convinced that there is no second hand smoke produced that might endanger others, e-smoking anywhere should not be a problem.
Consumers are very curious about cigarettes without smoke. This is especially true because of misinformation disseminated about electric cigarettes by tobacco companies and big pharmaceutical firms. Big tobacco and big pharma initially dismissed e-cigarettes as a novelty or gimmick.
The innovative new electronic cigarettes and their exploding popularity as an alternative to tobacco was a shock to companies who had dominated the nicotine industry for years. The patches and gums of quit smoking programs were not popular with tobacco companies but they maintained their hold on a large group of committed smokers who could not quit or had no interest in quitting.
Tobacco companies have recognized the real competition of electronic cigarettes in the marketplace and they are fighting back by attempting to frighten the public about e-cigarette effects. Lobbyists for tobacco manufacturers have pressured legislators to ban e-cigarettes as dangerous which is an amazing stance to take when you produce one of the most dangerous consumer products sold anywhere in the world.
It is very possible that in the future smoking bans will not apply to e-smokers. Cigarettes without smoke are not the same dangerous products as the tobacco cigarettes they can replace. Electronic cigarettes do not produce chemically laden smoke, do not coat the throat and lungs with tar and carcinogens and do not make a room smell like a full ashtray.
If you are looking to buy a great E-Cigarette, I would highly recommend the one from Green Smoke. I have written a review about it here.
